CALLUM HEDGE

The New Zealander was introduced to motorsport at a young age. He drove a friend’s go-kart at the Mount Wellington kart track and since then, he has never imagined a life without a steering wheel in his hands.

Hedge went on to win numerous karting titles before taking the step into car racing at 12 years of age. He raced successfully in the Ssangyong Racing Series, NZ Formula Ford, NZ Toyota 86 Series and in 2019, made the big step over ‘the ditch’ to compete in the Australian Formula Ford Championship, where he was the youngest ever race winner in 50 years of the Australian Formula Ford history.

He made the podium in each class, and won both the NZ Formula Ford title, and the NZ Toyota 86 CHampionship - being the youngest to ever do so.

By 2021, Hedge had his sights set on Australia, and in only two years, would rise to the top of Porsche Carrera Cup, claiming the 2023 Pro Championship.

Gaining attention for a remarkable 2023 season, which included two championships on two different continents (Formula Regional Americas and Porsche Carrera Cup Australia), Hedge’s focus shifted beyond Oceania, signing a deal to compete with HMD Motorsport in INDY NXT for 2024.

in 2021, callum steps into the porsche Michelin sprint challenge category, driving for team porsche nz earl bamber motorsport.
